    CBS Mystery Theater is excellent.
Something off the beaten path that I liked is “Adventures in Radio”. It’s a collect of real stories of how things came to be.
Sci-fi, “X-1” and some of Ray Bradbury’s stories where made into radio dramas.
“The Adventures of Phillip Marlow “ is good hard-boiled detective stuff.
    Adventure by Morse is another.
That just off the top of my head if I think of more I will post them.

"Suspense" -- one of the best ever. Ran on CBS as I recall --right up to the end of the serials. Sunday nights on WCBS New York, endend in the late 50's.

Featured scripts by Bradbury, A.C. Clark, other famous sci-fi and mystery writers doing the mystery
genre and was cutting edge of it's day.

    A real chiller.

    All the best

SUSPENSE ran until September of 1962, ending the same night YOURS TRULY, JOHNNY DOLLAR did, which is generally considered to be the end of the era of Old Time Radio. SUSPENSE was a terrific show, and most of the 900+ episodes are available.
